The start of 2008 will mark the 20th Anniversary since moving here [Atlanta] from New York. Over the years, outside of Summerz in Jamaica, Atlanta has been the foundation for the majority of my development, from adolescence into adulthood. I undoubtedly love it here, and never once regret leaving New York with my family in search of a better life. However, at 27 years of age, I feel lyke I've come to a point in my lyfe now where a change of scenery may be in order..


[You're moving?!] No, I'm not moving...not yet! :) The core of my family, at least my mother's side, is still here in Atlanta, but I would reely lyke to experience something new.. I went to elementary school, middle school, high school and college here in Atlanta.. When I was little, I used to poke fun at my friendz that had never been on an airplane before. "An airplane?! What do I need an airplane for? I've never been out of Atlanta!" Are you serious?! That reely baffled me.. By that time, I had already been to Jamaica, France, Puerto Rico and a handful of U.S. cities, and I was only 10 or 12 years old! My mother was a single parent elementary school teacher, but we were still able to afford ourselves the opportunity to visit family and friendz in other parts of the world...and I loved it! I could not fathom the possibility of knowing nothing more outside of the 159 counties that compromise the State of Georgia. At the time, I didn't fully appreciate the summers I spent in Jamaica with my cousins and grandparents. Everyone'z been to Jamaica! [Or so, I thought..] I was young [12], and I took these luxuries for granted.. Now that I'm older, it'z kinda time to appreciate life, before life depreciatez me! lolz.


[So, you're movin..?] No! I'm not moving! I just need to get away from "Hotlanta" for a little while.. Atlanta is quickly becoming [or trying to become] a mix between New California and Old New York.. Everyone and their momma'z cousin is either an actress, model, aspiring vocalist or immensely homosexual.. lolz! It'z lyke San Franholly Newlanta or somethin.. In the past few months, I have yet to meet someone new that is not directly or indirectly involved with "The Industry".. [How can someone be indirectly involved with "The Industry"?] If your sister's friend has a cousin whose boyfriend internz at the local radio station, Congratulationz! You are now [indirectly involved] with "The Industry". Are the quotez really necessary? Yes. lolz! The next tyme you have a conversation with someone involved in the you know what, grab a piece of paper and take notez on the number of timez the words "The" and "Industry" are spoken concurrently.. lolz. Ok, maybe it'z not that serious.. I'm just over the whole industry scene here in Atlanta.. [a little haterade never hurt nobody!] :)


So yeah, if you know of any opportunitiez for travel [jobs, military, traveling circus, etc.], please let me know.. Once my lease expires, I plan to move into a more affordable one bedroom apartment. Hopefully, this will allow me to save up enough money to start some sort of travel fund.. I have alwayz wanted to take a trip to Las Vegas, and now that I am of legal age to gamble [and solicit prostitutez, lolz!], I thynk it would be the perfect resolution for a disgruntled Atlantan in need of a change of scenery.. I also promised a friend that I'd make a trip out to San Diego in October, but October is right around the corner, and my wallet is right around empty! lolz. Nevertheless, whether it'z Las Vegas or San Diego, it doesn't really matter.. What does matter is that there'z more to life than Atlanta, and if you don't mynd, I reely would lyke to see it! :)

lolz! In all seriousness, live everyday as if it were your last.. Because, one day it will be.. I remember a quote saying, "When you came into this world, you were crying, while everyone else around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're smiling and everyone else around you is crying.."


And that'z exactly what I intend to do.. and that'z Reel.. :)
