[*yawn* - oh, excuse me.. I was taking a nap in-between entries.. My word! Is it 2009?!] Wow.. March 27th, 2008..huh? Yeah, looks like I just may have dropped the ball once again, on this whole "website renovation" thing.. However (HOW-EVA!), looking at the glass half-full.. I stayed true to my word of not making any promises..? [*yawn* - I'm going back to sleep. Wake me up when the 2010 World Cup begins.] Fine.. I deserve that.. I've made and broken more promises than an abusive spouse. But I reely mean it this time! I'ma change, Anna Mae! I'ma change!! Sure, Ike.. Tell us anything..


No, but this time is different..


In October of 2007, I made an attempt at a comeback, but I had alot going on in my life, and no reel time to commit to working on my page.. I was car shopping, apartment hunting, and looking for love in all the wrong places (and all the wrong packages).. March of '08 was another failed attempt, as you can see.. But, for different reasons..


By that point, I finally moved.. not into any of the apartments I was considering, but into a 4-bedroom house with my cousins. I bought a car [you got the car?!?] No, no no.. I bought a car, not the car.. lol.. I got an (used) '08 Altima Coupe for a reely good deal, so I jumped at the opportunity. So yes, the Rodeo (that tried to kill me) and I have decided to go our seperate ways, and I haven't looked back since.. [sounds good.. what else is new??]


Well, I finally got my laptop fixed, but I lost a substantial amount of data.. I also bought a desktop PC, a color printer, and a reel fancy shmancy ["smanchy?"] digital-SLR camera from Canon. [Oh wow.. I must have been asleep when they announced you won the Mega Millions Jackpot?!]


Ha! Not even.. I've also managed to land a new position (a promotion, if you will) with the GDOL, so I'm making a little (alot) more than I was making in March of 2008. So yeah, things have gotten a little (alot) better for me recently.. There is always room for improvement, so by no means am I content with where I am in life.. But, at the same time, the way the economy has been over the last year plus, I am blessed & thankful to have a decent job.. and I accept it with no complaints.. [So, what's next? Is this when I go back to sleep?]


Funny, but no.. The next step is to purchase a home of my own.. For the amount I pay in rent & bill, I could be paying off the mortgage on my own "piece of America".. lol! Nah, but that's reely what I intend to do! I'm currently in the early stages of the "home-buying process" as we speak (type), so I don't have much to report at this point.. In the meantime, I would reely like to get my site back up and running on a level of consistency much like my old blogdrive page. [Where is my e-pillow] No, seriously.. I have no excuse (other than pure laziness) not to make a better effort to work on the page this time.. and I shall..


I still wish to look into all of which I made mention to in the March 2008 entry. I have a few potential candidates for freelance writers, as well as ideas for a new web layout and the much-anticipated [ReelyfeRaydio]. I have been working on taking alot more pictures with my new camera, and intend to use [PortfolioZ] or some other engine to display them on the site. I've also recently created a twitter account, and intend to incorporate twitter and twitpic into the "fabric" of my blog..


I haven't reely sat down and ironed out the details, but the creative juices are flowing once again, and I'm excited to get started writing and developing once more.. [Cool.. Well, before we break out the confetti and party hats, I'm going to take a quick "power nap".. I'll believe it when I see it..] Fair enough.. I'll wake you tomorrow. [What did we learn about making promises?] Good point.. I'll wake you "shortly"..
